Daron Buckley is an enthusiastic and driven design leader with a comprehensive knowledge of garment conceptualization and construction. She has been living in Denver, CO since 2021 and is currently the Senior Designer for Cut & Sew Apparel and Accessories at Smartwool. She is constantly inspired by her surroundings and is always looking to push emerging trends, the latest textile innovations, and sustainable initiatives. In her free time, Daron loves to hike, climb, ski, and practice yoga.
Daron began her studies in fashion design at Parsons School of Design in New York City in 2010. She was selected as one of nineteen womenswear designers from the graduating class of 2014 at Parsons School of Design: BFA Fashion Design Program to present thesis collection looks in front of leading industry professionals. Her thesis collection has been featured on WWD.com and in Junk Magazine on model Ali Michael. She was named a “standout” graduate by Elle.com.
